When implemented as a standalone, off-line training process, Light Guide Systems™ (LGS) has the unique ability to train operators on the key manual requirements of their job before they are assigned to their permanent workstation. This allows for mistakes to be made in a safe, low cost environment before they are potentially made on the line. The operator will be guided through every step of the cycle by LGS and must confirm that each step was properly completed before advancing to the next step. Utilizing LGS to self-train the new operator can reduce overall training costs in addition to measuring the cycle times and productivity trends during the critical training process.
